Hall don't go because if you do they are going to pick apart your lower frame rails . If your car even has them. If they are not 1 x 2" from front to rear its illegal. My car even has them but the orientation is 2x 1" which dont meet their ridiculous standards. IMHO They are protecting the 2 two local builders. I just bought a 16k Peter D car and have been outlawed even at our local WSDCA track with BAD . Now I have a nice garage ornament. Give me a call @ 408-738-2859 and I will explain the details

Charles, I was living in Wyoming when I purchased the Brat and had planned to adapt it to WSDCA rules. This included replacing the front frame extension with 1"x2" tubing, shortening the front so the bumper distance would be in spec. Installing 1"x2" tubing from the rear roll bar / frame to the rear bumper, changing out the nerf bars with 1" tubing, etc. etc. I transferred to Duncan Oklahoma before I had a chance to get the changes started. Now I have a chance to run under T-USA rules which allow the car as it is. In fact they run Classics and Mod-lites together allowing the classics to run soft tires, etc. to allow them To compete with the Mods. I think it is a load of crap that Monroe and the Cains keep out changes so their chassis design is the only one that meets the specifications. The other thing that is going on is trying to eliminate engines over 1000 cc. I have a couple of ZX12s and don't want to downgrade !!!
